Rage Kombat is back — bigger, louder, and more rebellious than ever. On Saturday, 31st January 2026, Malta’s global combat sports promotion returns with a landmark event that will make history for the local fight scene. For the first time ever, the iconic Gianpula Main Room — ranked the 30th best nightclub in the world — will transform into a high-octane combat arena for a night of world-class martial arts, live entertainment, and global exposure.

A Historic Venue for a Historic Night

Gianpula is known for hosting some of the most electrifying nightlife events in Europe, but never before has it hosted a combat sports show. Rage Kombat is breaking new ground by becoming the first promoter ever to bring fighting action to this legendary venue. The unique setting will amplify the adrenaline, atmosphere, and spectacle that Rage Kombat has quickly become known for.

Massive USA Broadcasting Deals Secured

Rage Kombat’s reach is expanding far beyond Malta. For this event, the promotion has secured a landmark distribution deal with a USA-based broadcast broker, enabling the event to be aired live across multiple American TV stations and streaming platforms. This agreement will introduce Rage Kombat to millions of potential viewers and marks a monumental step in the promotion’s international growth.

In addition, a separate distribution deal has been finalised to broadcast the event live in bars throughout the United States, bringing the Rage Kombat experience directly to fight fans across North America.

Special Half-Time Performance by Ibiza Legend Jack Eye Jones

Entertainment levels will be sky-high as Rage Kombat welcomes Jack Eye Jones, the iconic Ibiza DJ, for a special one-night-only performance. Coming out of retirement exclusively for Rage Kombat, Jack Eye Jones will deliver a high-energy halftime DJ set that promises to elevate the event into a festival of combat and music.

A Statement from Founder Mark Wilson Smith

“Every event we do, we want to push the limits. This time we will have our usual blend of different fighting styles and quality entertainment for our halftime show; but importantly we will be the first combat sports promoter to host an event at the famous Gianpula complex and have a huge broadcasting deal like this in place. We do things differently at Rage Kombat — we are the rebels and the alternative choice.”

True to its identity, Rage Kombat will once again feature a diverse, multi-disciplinary fight lineup, including:

  • Grappling
  • Muay Thai
  • MMA
  • Kickboxing
  • Arm Wrestling
  • Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

This unique blend of combat styles is one of the promotion’s defining characteristics and continues to set Rage Kombat apart from traditional fight events.
