About Rage Kombat

Rage Kombat is a new and innovative fight league. The key principle is showcasing traditional fighting disciplines in a modern and exciting environment.

We really want to take traditional martial arts away from small hall shows and repackage them for audiences of the 21st Century. The fighting disciplines have always been exciting, but now they will be in an atmospheric arena of pyrotechnics, lights, cameras, and live music.

You will see all your favourite sports such as boxing and karate, but you will also see innovative Fusion Fights and Greco-Roman Combat bouts.

Pretty much all fighting styles are welcome at Rage Kombat provided they don't include any weapons. This is purely about striking, grappling, or submission techniques.

Please see our FAQ section below for more information:

Fusion Fights are essentially 'style vs style' bouts. Therefore, you might see Kickboxing vs Karate; Judo vs Kurash; or Muay Thai vs Savate etc. The bouts take place inside a boxing ring.
This is a mix of Greco-Roman boxing and wrestling. It involves boxing with MMA gloves, but with shoulder throws and body-lock throws included. Bouts takes place in a boxing ring and just involve one round.
All competitors are matched with opponents that are within 3kg weight difference. This then falls into one of our dedicated weight categories.
It depends on the fighting style. Boxing bouts have standard 3 minute rounds, with 1 minute intervals. Bouts can last 4,6,8,10, or 13 rounds in total. Fusion Fights have 3 or 5 rounds, with each round lasting 2 minutes. Greco-Roman Combat bouts only have one round. This can last 6,8, or 10 minutes. However, martial arts bouts involving only one discipline can have a duration that is agreed upon by both participants.
Almost any fighting style! Rage is open to striking styles and grappling/submission styles too. Sometimes participants will be paired against their own martial art discipline - such as Muay Thai vs Muay Thai, or alternatively against a different style in a Fusion Fight - such as Muay Thai vs Savate. Additionally, we also have Greco-Roman combat bouts - which mix boxing and wresting, while participants wear MMA gloves.
Yes, we have champions for each weight division and discipline. They are known as 'Kings of Rage'. However, you can also see international title fights happening at Rage Kombat - such as boxing's WBC Mediterranean title, for example.
All bouts take place in a boxing ring.
It really depends on the bout and fighting style(s) involved. Boxers will wear boxing gloves, while BJJ fighters won't wear any gloves.
